[Approximately half an hour before the raid is set to begin on their homes, Jusis gets a vision. All he sees is a hail of gunfire and explosions, along with a very familiar symbol. The dots connect rapidly and he immediately informs Elliot before sending out a mass text to certain people (Husk, Leon, Ardyn, and Blade) while his husband grabs everything of value. Things can be replaced, but people can't and he has no desire to get innocent civilians involved.]

I've just received a vision of danger. Be prepared for an attack from The Order and proceed as if it's imminent. Rendezvous at the Crystal Tower before dawn, but be extremely cautious. Use the Gemini app only.

[Noctis, who'd stayed up late to debug a boss fight's AI, went to bed half an hour ago and fell asleep the moment his head hit the pillow. (Something everyone who knows him has bemoaned since he was young.) So he's too unconscious to notice a skeleton slipping into his room, bones rattling with every step.

He stirs for a second, then turns over and snores gently.]

[Picture this. You're Ardyn, who originated at least half of the past life tendency for oversleeping. You're also someone whose memories tend to be such a mess that you have no idea where you land on the matter of daemons without thinking for a second about which Ardyn you remember being.]

[So, what do you do when you're awoken by the sound of rattling bones at some unholy hour? Obviously, you pop out of the particularly comfortable shadow you were sleeping in, curse in some arcane Latin, and throw the nearest book in its direction.]

[The arcane Latin cursing and the book slamming against a wall is, surprisingly, enough to at least snag on Noct’s consciousness and drag it back to the waking world. Noctis fights every step of the way, but the commotion does manage to get him to very slowly lift his head from his pillow and blink blearily at the scene before him.

Is…is that a fucking skeleton?]

Fuck, get down! [Noctis, his brain still a little fuzzy, grabs the nearest object to hand and throws it at the skeleton with a shriek. It’s his battery-powered alarm and it just kinda bounces off the skeleton’s skull.
